Courtney Dionne is the daughter of Darriel and Myrtis Johnson. She is the youngest sister of Darriel Jr and Robin. Courtney is a graduate of Warren Easton Fundamental Senior High School in New Orleans, LA. Courtney received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix- Louisiana Campus and later received her Master of the Arts in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix-Online. Currently, she is completing her Project Management Certification also at the University of Phoenix. Courtney has joined the workforce at the age of fourteen where she was a summer employee at the Episcopal headquarters for the Eighth Episcopal District (Louisiana and Mississippi) of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. From then on, she was awarded two (2) internships from Spectrum Unlimited (a publishing company that publishes minority medical magazines) and the Orleans Parish Civil Sheriff Office. After her internships, she was employed again by the Eighth District Headquarters until Hurricane Katrina shut down the office. After a brief hiatus, she returned to the workforce by gaining employment at Project Lazarus. At Project Lazarus, she was able to assist the executives and board members of the company by creating and designing a new company logo which is now being used on all company's media. Courtney was also appointed to be the site event planner for the Bon Appetite's fundraiser at Project Lazarus. At the event, over two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) was raised for the residents of Project Lazarus. After Project Lazarus, Courtney was employed by The Amedee Group (TAG), an entertainment company where she held of position of Senior Executive Assistant and Event Planner. At tag, Courtney planned numerous events from weddings to concerts. Periodically, she also would fill in as club manager for the Perfect Fit Bar and Grill and an event Captain at the Wisdom Reception Center, a nightclub and event venue both owned by TAG. Currently, Courtney is employed as a financial aid advisor for Our Lady of Holy Cross College.
C Courtney is a member of many organizations such as the Urban League, the NAACP and the National Black MBAs Organization. She is also a member of the famous and historical Gospel Soul Children of New Orleans. Yet, there is one organization that she holds dear to her heart and that is the Young People's and Children's Division (YPD) of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
