NEW ONLINE OPTIONS IN COUNSELING

University of Holy Cross offers an on-campus option as well as a new online option in graduate Counseling programs.
New Online graduate counseling options in:
- M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- M.A. in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling
- M.A. in School Counseling
- Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision
- Online option students will be accepted for the first time in Fall Semester, 2020
- Individuals may apply to begin the online option each Fall, Spring, and Summer Semesters beginning with applications for Fall Semester, 2020 (which are being accepted now)
- Online degree options will include 60 graduate credits for MA degree programs and an additional 54 graduate credits for the PhD degree program.
- During the course of their studies, students enrolled in the online option for both the MA and PhD degree programs will attend two long-weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) residencies on the university campus in New Orleans where they will complete two 3-hour graduate credit courses. All other courses will be completed online.
- Depending on the number of courses completed each academic term, MA degree online option programs may be completed in 3 to 4 years and the PhD degree online option may be completed in 3 to 3 ½ years.
