You invest in yourself when you attend UHC and earn your degree. We provide tools, like the net price calculator, to help you estimate your aid. Calculate your cost of attendance at UHC with our Estimated Cost of Attendance Worksheet.

Financial aid and scholarships can help make your University of Holy Cross education more affordable!

Financial aid is available to students applying to UHC. The type of aid available depends on your student type. Aid (including grants, loans and work-study) eligibility is determined by the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA).

Important dates

October 1: FAFSA opens
July 1: UHC priority deadline for FAFSA completion

Filing your FAFSA

The 2024–25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is now available at studentaid.gov. You can complete the form to apply for financial aid to help pay for attendance at college between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025.

Follow the steps below. If you need help, contact the Financial Aid office at (504) 398-2133. Additional help can be provided by the Federal Student Aid Customer Service at (800) 433-3243.

  1. Create FSA User ID (student and parent/guardian)
  2. Complete FAFSA: Whenever possible use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to automatically move your income information from the IRS to the FAFSA. UHC’s Federal School Code is 002023.
  3. Review Student Aid Report: After you file, the U.S. Department of Education will notify you that your FAFSA was processed and provide you with a Student Aid Report (SAR). Review the SAR for accuracy, and if necessary, correct your FAFSA online.

UHC FAFSA Fridays

The Office of Financial Aid dedicates time from 8:30AM-1:00 PM on Fridays to assist students with filling out the FAFSA. Students can make an appointment by emailing finaid@uhcno.edu. Please bring all necessary information with you.
