UHC Family & Friends,

As we find ourselves immersed in the energy of a remarkable Fall semester, I wanted to take a moment to share some incredible news and express my gratitude to each one of you. The Fall semester at the University of Holy Cross is off to a wonderful start, and I could not be prouder of what we have accomplished together as a community. There is an undeniable sense of enthusiasm and achievement on our campus that is truly amazing.

University of Holy Cross (UHC) recently signed an agreement with Holy Cross College (HCC) in Indiana. This partnership allows for graduates from HCC’s undergraduate counseling program to gain guaranteed acceptance into UHC’s Master of Arts in Counseling: Clinical Mental Health Specialization, Marriage and Family Counseling, and School Counseling. With this agreement between two Holy Cross institutions, we are connecting students with opportunities to succeed and give back to our communities by training them to serve as counselors in schools around the U.S. where they will positively impact the lives of students.

Additionally, we hosted a Give UHC Day earlier this month. We were blessed to have so many internal and external stakeholders of the university attend this event to support our beloved institution. Last, we have two exciting events that the university is sponsoring. First is our Annual Prayer Breakfast, which will be held on November 10 at 7:30AM in our Moreau Center. Mr. Kevin Avin (UHC Class of 1993) will be our keynote speaker. To purchase tickets, click on the following link: Prayer Breakfast 2023. Second is our Annual Ditta Family Scholarship Dinner, which will be held on December 12 at 6:30PM at the Southern Yacht Club. To purchase tickets, click on the following link: 2023 Ditta Scholarship Dinner. Revenue generated from both events go toward student support.

I look forward to the countless accomplishments and opportunities that lie ahead of us as we continue this exciting journey together. Let us approach the rest of the semester with the same enthusiasm and determination that have defined our community for generations.

Thank you for being an essential part of the University of Holy Cross family. Together, we will continue to inspire, innovate, and make a positive impact on the world.

Spes Unica,
Stanton
