Dear UHC Family & Friends,It's hard to believe a new Fall term is upon us, and I am once again reminded of the
unique and essential role that our University plays in shaping the future of our New
Orleans community. In July, I had the privilege of sharing UHC's impact on healthcare
education with several media outlets, including a segment on WWNO's Louisiana Considered alongside our new Chair of the UHC Department of Nursing, Dr. Kristy Solis.
At UHC, we are proud to be a nimble, mission-driven institution that blends academic excellence with real-world training and lifelong support. Our
nursing and pre-med programs continue to serve as a vital pipeline for healthcare readiness, helping close critical gaps in the region's medical workforce.
Thank you for being part our journey. Together, we are building a healthier, stronger
community.

Stanton F. McNeely III, Ed.D
President
The West Bank Hispanic Heritage Festival is around the corner! This year, we will spotlight:

backgrounds for a successful future.
- Pathways to success for prospective students hoping to make an impact for good.
