Dear UHC Family & Friends,
As we celebrate Thanksgiving, I am filled with deep gratitude for each member of our
University of Holy Cross community. This time of year invites us to pause, reflect,
and recognize the many blessings that surround us—especially, the staff, faculty,
and students who make our mission come alive every day.
In recent weeks, I have been especially inspired by the generosity, compassion, and
spirit of service demonstrated across our campus. Whether through faculty who go above
and beyond in guiding our students, staff who keep our operations running with excellence
and care, or students who live out our values through service and leadership, each
of you contributes in meaningful ways to the strength of our Holy Cross family.
As we prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday, I also want to express my appreciation
to our alumni, partners, and supporters who continue to invest in our mission. Your
faith in our work allows us to expand opportunities, strengthen academic programs,
and uphold the legacy of the Marianites of Holy Cross with purpose and pride.
I hope this season offers each of you time for rest, renewal, and connection with
loved ones. Thank you for all you do to uplift one another and our entire UHC community.

2025 West Bank Hispanic Heritage Festival Huge Success!
We are grateful to everyone who joined us for the 2025 West Bank Hispanic Heritage Festival on Saturday, October 18th. This year’s celebration was a tremendous success, bringing guests to our campus to honor the rich culture, leadership, and contributions of our Hispanic community.

sponsors, as well as our faculty, staff, students, and volunteers who helped make
the event memorable. Your enthusiasm and hospitality showcased the very best of UHC

Thank You for an Inspiring 29th Annual Prayer Breakfast
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday, Nov. 14 in the Moreau Center for the 29th Annual Prayer Breakfast. This year’s gathering was truly uplifting, bringing our community together in faith, reflection, and unity.
We were honored to welcome Dr. RaeNell Houston, Executive Director and Superintendent of Catholic Education and Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of New Orleans and member of the UHC Board of Trustees, as our keynote speaker.
We are grateful for the spirit of fellowship that filled the morning and for everyone who helped make the event a meaningful success.
Thank You for Two Fantastic Open House Events!
We are thrilled to share that both of our recent Fall Open House events—one held in person (10/29) and the other online (11/20)—were a great success. It was inspiring to welcome so many prospective students and
families as they explored our programs, met faculty and staff, and learned what makes
the University of Holy Cross such a supportive and mission-driven community.
We were especially excited the share the good news of UHC Admission status to a group
of students as a surprise during our in person session on October 29th.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make these events engaging, informative, and welcoming. We look forward to seeing many of our guests back on campus this spring!

Law & Ethics in Counseling Conference 2026
The Law & Ethics in Counseling Conference is taking place in-person and virtually on Jan. 27-30, 2026. This annual, nationally-recognized professional conference will bring together counselor educators, counseling graduate students and counseling practitioners to review the latest trends and developments in the areas of law and ethics in counseling. The deadline for submitting conference proposals is Oct. 25.
