The excitement from Commencement weekend is still in the air, and I find myself continuing to reflect on the incredible milestone our graduates achieved. To the Class of 2026 — our congratulations remain as heartfelt and enthusiastic as ever. You have earned this moment, and we could not be more proud of each and every one of you.
And while we pause to celebrate, the University of Holy Cross never stops moving forward — because that is the nature of this community. We are thrilled to welcome Summer 2026, a semester full of possibility and new beginnings for so many. Whether you are a transfer student looking for a seamless transition to UHC, a visiting student eager to earn credits close to home, or someone who is finally ready to take that first step toward their degree — this is your season. Summer is the perfect time to experience everything Holy Cross has to offer: small class sizes, dedicated faculty, and a community that truly invests in your success.

Commencement Week — Thank You for Celebrating With Us!
Commencement week at the University of Holy Cross is so much more than the awarding of diplomas — it is a full celebration of achievement, dedication, and community.
Our annual Commencement activities include the well-known awarding of diplomas to our newest graduates, but it also includes many UHC celebrations leading to the main event:
- Commencement Mass and Awards Ceremony, setting a spirit of gratitude and reverence for the entire celebration.
- Our Department of Nursing honored its graduates with a heartfelt Pinning Ceremony, a cherished tradition marking their entry into the nursing profession.
- The Business Department welcomed outstanding students into the prestigious Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society.
- The Education Department held its beloved Candlelight Commissioning Ceremony, a moving tribute to our newest educators as they prepare to enter the classroom.
- An exciting End of Year Extravaganza hosted by UHC's American Medical Student Association (AMSA), the Pre-Med Honor Society (PMHS), and the Neuro Club — a wonderful sendoff for students whose futures in healthcare and medicine are just beginning.
- The Counseling Department hosted an intimate ceremony honoring graduates on every degree level offered at UHC.
From the pinning of a nursing pin to the turning of a tassel, every moment this weekend reminded us of what makes the University of Holy Cross so special — a community that shows up for one another every step of the way.

Summer 2026 classes begin Monday, June 1st — and registration is open now! Summer is a wonderful opportunity to accelerate your progress, explore new subjects, or lighten your fall course load, all while enjoying smaller class sizes and the personalized attention that makes Holy Cross special. Degree seeking students from other universities and visiting students are welcome at UHC each summer!
Fall 2026 registration is also open, with classes beginning August 17th. Now is the perfect time to secure your spot in classes for the fall.
