Professional Expereience Ms. Humphrey has a total of 27 years of experience working at the patient bedside. The specialty areas of care focus primarily of obstetrical patients for 15 years. The patients consist of high and low risk maternity patients pre and post-delivery along with well-baby newborn care. Eight years in hyperbaric oxygen medicine a care area that includes many types of patients, all age ranges, mostly wound healing, carbon monoxide poisoning, commercial and sport dive medicine for decompression sickness even some on ventilators. She practiced in telemetry and medical-surgical acute care practice caring for patients with cardiac related diseases, both chronic and acute, stroke and neurological disorders, pre and post-operative procedures and monitoring of acute symptomatic health related issues. The related health issues included most systems in the general medical surgical specialization such as gastrointestinal disorders, renal disease, pulmonary, genitourinary. The types of patients also include those that have had gynecological surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, cardiac catheterization procedures, pain management procedures, skin flap procedures. She additionally has experience in the roles of charge nurse, preceptor, clinical manager and clinical director.
