Dr. Troy has been a nurse for 44 years. She presently works full time at teaching and part time as a forensic nurse practitioner at the CARE center at Children's hospital. She has presented nationally and internationally on forensic topics. Most recently in Lyon , France and Rome Italy on her research interests of sexual abuse prevention and forgiveness post adverse childhood experiences. Her latest qualitative study was conducted with a Canadian team addressing sexual abuse post natural disasters.
