Nursing Faculty - Full-Time and Part-Time Positions
The Department of Nursing at the University of Holy Cross invites applications for faculty positions in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program. These positions are pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing education, fostering academic excellence and innovative teaching that meets the needs for nurses in the community, and committing to our mission of educating the minds and hearts of our students.
Required Education and Experience
- Current unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Louisiana.
- Master's degree in Nursing as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.*
- At least three (3) years of clinical experience in the area of teaching responsibility.
*An exception to the Master’s degree in nursing may be made if the registered nurse holds a baccalaureate degree in nursing and has three years of nursing practice in a clinical setting. The Chair will submit a request for approval of faculty exception to Louisiana State Board of Nursing. If LSBN approves the faculty exception, the potential faculty must be enrolled in a Master’s in nursing program and have a written plan on file designating a plan to complete the Master’s in nursing program within two (2) calendar years.
