Dear UHC Family & Friends,
As I begin the June President’s Newsletter, it is my honor to convey my heartfelt congratulations to our recent graduating class. The Marianites of Holy Cross, Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, and administration welcomed over 200 students to our university’s alumni association on May 21 at a packed Alario Center. Our graduation day was a testament to the exceptional talent, dedication, and perseverance that our students have exhibited throughout their educational journey. It was a momentous occasion that marked the culmination of years of hard work, late nights of studying, and countless challenges overcome. We are truly blessed to acknowledge and celebrate their remarkable achievements. Additionally, I want to express my deepest gratitude to our faculty and staff members whose tireless efforts have guided and nurtured our graduates along their academic paths. Their passion for teaching and mentorship has played an integral role in shaping the success stories we will witness for decades to come.
As our graduates move forward into the next phase of their lives, the university is filled with enthusiasm as we prepare to host more UHC students over the upcoming school year. We are currently offering a number of classes this Summer and are accepting applications for the Fall semester. Our academic programming offers a rich tapestry of courses, blending traditional knowledge with emerging fields of study. If you or someone you know would like to join us on this stimulating academic journey, visit uhcno.edu/apply.
In addition to offering our Summer classes, we will also be hosting a number of retreats, some overnight, on our campus. We are excited to welcome Academy of Sacred Heart, ACTS, Shell Energy, and NASA Astro camps to our university grounds! These events are an exceptional reminder of how fortunate we are to partner with such a diverse group of friends.
May you and your families have a safe summer break, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Spes Unica,
Stanton
