Dear UHC Family & Friends,

As we transition in to the month of June, I am filled with a sense of pride and gratitude for each and every member of our university FAMILY. This past academic year has been a testament to our resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to education as shown through the 175 years of the Holy Cross Family in Louisiana.

This May, we celebrated the class of 2024 and welcomed our newest members of the alumni family. We gathered for our Commencement Mass to offer blessings and prayers for our graduating class. It was a time to reflect on our core values of excellence, respect, integrity, inclusion, and compassionate service that have guided these graduates to this momentous occasion. Finally, we came together once again to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our graduating class at Commencement. This occasion was a testament to the talent, intellect, and character of our graduates, and it filled me with great optimism for the future. As we conferred diplomas and sent forth our graduates into the world, I was filled with a profound sense of pride and hope for the incredible journey that lies ahead for each of them, prepared to be a shining light in our world.

To our graduating students, I offer my heartfelt congratulations on this significant milestone. Your hard work, determination, and perseverance have brought you to this momentous occasion, and I have no doubt that you will continue to achieve great things in the years ahead. Remember that the values and teachings instilled in you during your time at the University of Holy Cross will serve as a guiding light as you navigate the next chapter of your lives.

To the faculty, staff, and families who have supported our graduates along their journey, I extend my deepest gratitude. Your guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support have played an instrumental role in shaping the lives and futures of our graduates, and for that, we are truly grateful.
