The University of Holy Cross offers a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology. The Psychology degree consists of 120 credit hours. Students will take courses in Advanced Interviewing and Counseling, Crisis Intervention, Human Growth and Development, Advanced Abnormal Psychology, Crisis Intervention, and other counseling related topics.
In our bachelor’s degree program, students develop an understanding of human behavior throughout the lifespan. Students also learn the foundational skills in counseling, researching, assessing, and interviewing, and receive a foundation in psychological theories.
With a bachelor’s in counseling, psychology, and applied behavioral sciences, some of your options could be employment as:
- Psychological technician in a hospital unit or battered women’s shelter.
- State probation officer.
- Case Management Assistant
- Substance abuse specialist
- Community services specialist
- Academic and career advisor
- Behavioral health specialist
