Clinical Counselor Supervision
Workshops that include 25-hours of clinical supervision are offered twice annually on weekends. To be approved by the LPC board as an LPC-S, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Louisiana must have been practicing counseling a minimum of 3 years after licensure and must have completed supervision training within 5 years of application for board-approved supervision. This training program was designed to meet the requirements for supervision training. Any LPC, PLPC, graduate of a counseling graduate program, or counseling graduate student who plans to apply for the LPC-S designation in the next 5 years is eligible to complete this training.
Next Workshop Series

All sessions for the 25-hour supervision training will be taught by counselors who hold the LPC-S designation in Louisiana. After an initial one-hour orientation on a Thursday from 5:30-6:30 pm, each training session will be held by Zoom on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm (Central Time Zone).
