The nursing application period for Fall 2024 is now open! The requirements for admission to the Department can be found here. 

A completed application consists of:
1. an acceptable reading score on the Nursing Reading Test
2. an acceptable score on the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)
3. a completed nursing application
4. three completed letters of reference
5. official transcripts from each college/university attended
6. application fee paid via application link

Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)

You can register to take the TEAS online at https://www.atitesting.com/teas/register. After taking the test, download and email your score report to kkish@uhcno.edu.

Admission GPA

Admission to the Department of Nursing for Fall 2024 is based on grades through Fall 2023. Since most admission letters are issued in May, spring grades are not utilized in calculating your admission GPA. Please note, the admission GPA for nursing at the University of Holy Cross will include any grade of D or F obtained in a required course within the nursing curriculum at any college within the last three years. The repeat/delete policy of the University does not apply for admission purposes to the Department of Nursing. After admission letters are issued by mid-May and, if space is available, spring grades may be utilized to determine eligibility until all available spaces are filled.
