2022 Pinning Ceremony

At the end of each academic year, the Department holds a pinning ceremony, a time-honored nursing school tradition dating back before the turn of the twentieth century. This important and emotional ceremony recognizes the new juniors and seniors for their achievements and progression in the Department of Nursing, as well as marking the passage of the graduates to the practice role. The graduates receive the Department pin signifying successful completion of the baccalaureate nursing curriculum.
